  1. skate.ride.roll in the parking lot

    November 21, 2010 by Steph

the last few times I have tried to do skate vids its been in the dark. I was excited for this session because we were PLANNING for it to be in the daytime. ( the quality is MUCH better in the daytime )

but I was caught up later than I thought doing more grad portraits and then as we were halfway to riverway, I realized I forgot my lens at home and had to backtrack, missing the most beautiful sunset EVER! I was quite the exploding mess in the car on the way back as sunset faded into horrible darkness, poor dave. haha.

But we got there and still got some fun footage so it ended up being alright. but next time I REALLY hope to shoot in the daytime.

Props to my brother Scott for showing me both of the songs in my vids lately, Hes a champion!

  4. Its the most wonderful time of the year!

    November 18, 2010 by Steph

First of all. Im going to say this. Australian school makes more sense time wise than North American. The school year actually falls in one year. and not split up over two ( cause their summer is in December, so thats when they are on summer holidays essentially  )

Given that fact. Its graduation time over here! and I have a couple of shoots lined up this week for formal portraits. This is the first round that I did. We went down to Anzac park here in Townsville to take formal portraits for a friend called Yanko, and his grad partner, Emily.  They are champions and it was alot of fun shooting with them!

Sometimes Yanko decided to be difficult and he chose to be incapable of making a normal face, alot of the photos turned out like this one. Poor emily. haha
