  2. The best rainy day ever!

    Something that I really love about PNG is when it rains, it POURS. as in, barely can see the other side of the feild, and ankle deep puddles form in 2 minutes, kind of pours.
    Kids go MENTAL and take advantage of these random afternoon showers, and cant get their clothes off fast enough to go play in it. ( fortunatly everyone in these photos are fully clothed. which is sort of a rare event, especially when it involves kids, and ESPECIALLY when it involves rain )
    I fell in love the rainbow umbrellas people carry around here, it contrasts to well to the neutral tones of the villages and forests and adds such a brilliant touch of character .

  3. Slingshot Conferences

    These last few weeks we have been putting on a 3 week international leaders conference called Slingshot at our base in Townsville, Australia.
    Its been heaps busy with the extra influx of people, and everyone here has been putting in long days and many extra hours helping to pull it off. but its been really cool at the same time to see so many leaders from different cultures and YWAM bases around the world and be able to hear whats going on in different parts of the globe.

    YWAM is the biggest family I have ever been a part of. and I LOVE it.

    We decided it would be cool to get a representative from every country we have on base right now ( including staff ) and take a photo outside the base, it was pretty cool and we have 25 different nationalities here! ( 2 ( canada and holland ) are not featured in the first one cause they didnt come out in time for the photo )

  4. Hello Hurricane cover on a ukulele!

    Im going to take a little break from the PNG theme and show you something AWESOME. Cause I can.
    The other day, Aidan Jones borrowed a ukulele from someone on base and learned and covered Hello Hurricane by Switchfoot in like. 2 days or something.

    I thought it was pretty rad. Enjoy.

    ( ps. I dont know what the deal is with the width of this, but whatever )
